St Martin Accommodation Information

The Summit is a family run hotel and, except for two brief periods, has had the same management in place since inception in 1973. Several key employees have been with the hotel since day one and contribute greatly to the sense of family that guests feel at our St Martin accommodation. Many guests themselves return year after year, during the same time of year, in order to see friends they have made at the Summit over the years. All in all, the sense one gets when visiting the Summit is one of belonging and of coming to a place that feels like home.

Ownership of the hotel today is through a Special Purpose Foundation incorporated in Phillipsburg, Sint Maarten under the laws of the Netherlands Antilles. All Special Purpose Foundations must have what is known as a “purpose clause” and the one for the Summit is “to preserve the natural beauty of the Summit Hotel” for generations to come. This is our guiding philosophy and helps explain our enthusiasm for welcoming more guests to the unique family friendly style of our St Martin accommodation. We hope you’ll join us.
