Be sure to visit the open air Marigot Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays when the Market is filled with vendors and artists showcasing locally designed and created art, souvenirs, local foods and spices, and clothing and accessories. Behind the Market, you will find the West Indies Mall, featuring plenty of upscale shops to keep you busy. In Marigot, you will also find plenty of galleries featuring artwork from Caribbean artists.
Back on the Dutch side of the island, Phillipsburg offers plenty of excellent shopping opportunities, including Front Street and Back Street which run along Great Bay, the Sint Rose Shopping Arcade, and many others.
